The Board of Directors is most fortunate to have Dale Albertson as the new Executive Director of ACCES. Although he will officially begin on August 18th, he will be at the BBQ to meet ACCES folks.

As well as knowledge of international development, and a passion for helping others, Dale has an array of talents in areas such as graphic art and music. He and his wife Melissa have three grown children and call Surrey home.

This past month has been a time of orientation for Dale. He has met with Rick and board members to become familiar with the various portfolios and diverse responsibilities of the Kenyan and Canadian offices.

Dale has an extensive background in international development and for the past 12 years he has worked for not-for-profit organizations. For six years he was employed with a large international NGO where he had the primary responsibility of evaluating and managing CIDA funded programs in several African countries and other developing nations. The last four years Dale has worked with local non-profit organizations in the areas of strategic planning for community development, health & recreation and fund raising.
